EXCITING NEWS!
The Shoals Public Library has been awarded a $500,000 Public Facilities grant from the Office of Community and Rural Affairs. These funds will be used to expand the existing library with a two- story addition to the back. The expansion will include an elevator, new ADA restrooms, a new children’s area, and upgraded HVAC. Thank you to SIDC and Griffy Creek studios for all the hard work on the application. Also, a big thank you to our patrons and everyone who assisted with surveys, and/or letters of support!

Last year, the Shoals Public Library was selected to represent the State of Indiana in a Nationwide project about the impact of rural libraries. The library recently received this letter from Governor Holcomb! We feel very honored to be a part of this project. It has been a fun process and we cannot wait to see the final product.
